Peranakan Sling Bag

Each batik sling bag is specially designed, hand-painted, and crafted by youths with special needs. From tracing, waxing, painting, fixing, and to the finishing, every step is done with care using traditional batik techniques.

No two pouches are the same—everyone is a one-of-a-kind creation with slight variations in color and design.

Design:
The story of the Peranakan tile began back in the early 1900s. These ornamental pieces found their way to our shores thanks to the British and found favor in particular with the local Peranakan community. These tiles symbolize wealth and prosperity. Our youths hope this piece will bring wealth and prosperity to you.
