Each design is specially designed, painted, and processed by our youth with special needs. Each batik piece goes through the tedious process of tracing, waxing, painting, being treated with a batik fixer, washing and scrubbing with hot water, and ironing before it can be curated into a batik painting print.
Singapore is represented by the Vanda Miss Joaquim Orchid which was chosen as the National Flower for its "resilience and year-round blooming quality. Similarly to our youths, despite their conditions, they remain resilient and continue to grow in their areas of expertise and as an individual.
