Peranakan Batik Print Recycled Bag (Foldable)

Our Peranakan batik print recycled bag features a vibrant mix of intricate floral designs by three of our special needs youth artists. Each of their designs is uniquely different, yet they could come together seamlessly. This is akin to how they wish to express that they are also part of the larger community and can contribute in their own way.

The print is specially designed, painted, and processed by our youth with special needs. Each batik piece goes through the tedious process of tracing, waxing, painting, being treated with a batik fixer, washing and scrubbing with hot water, and ironing before it can be curated into a batik painting print.
